Quote for the Day

” . . . . .”

Sen. Rafael “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz (TP-Texas).

And that is the sound of the six seconds of awkward silence from Cruz when he was asked at his second debate with Congressman Beto O’Rourke, “Tell us something you’ve done in the last year that has nothing to do with politics that would give Texans insight to who you are as a person.”

Cruz had no real answer after the prolonged silence because there is no possible insight into who Lyin’ Ted is as a normal human being.   He is entirely a political creature consumed by narcissism and completely dedicated to the greater advancement of all things Ted Cruz.  Nothing else matters to him but his quest to become President.

Absolutely. You can look into his eyes and see there is no soul there, nothing going on but ambition for power. I believe he has drive, but lacks humanity. It sounds as though all of his fellow Senators (regardless of party) would agree.

Red would still prefer Con Man Trump over Lyin’ Ted if it came right down to that awful decision again. Trump plays the game because he enjoys sport f#(king other people around. At heart, Red thinks that Trump knows he is a con man who is working the greatest con the world has ever seen. Ted has much greater ambitions to remake the country into something that the late 20th Century would not recognize – that could be even more dangerous and divisive than Trump – as hard as that is to imagine.
